Camp Discovery (Ages 3 -5) must be potty-trained
A child’s first camping experience that combines a climate-controlled indoor adventure with the diversity of an outdoor play experience. Activities include swimming, spray park, arts and crafts, games and dramatic play. Your child will grow socially and have a great camp experience in a fun and safe environment. This camp is held mostly indoors.

Sprouts Sports (Ages: 5 -7)
Four separate camps - Each sport is offered as a stand-alone camp for 10 weeks.
Sprouts Soccer - Build your confidence, enthusiasm and love of soccer. Participants learn the basic fundamentals of soccer and skill development while working on teamwork and sportsmanship.
Sprouts Basketball - Basic fundamentals and skills of basketball will be the focus of Sprouts Basketball. Children will gain a sense of teamwork and sportsmanship as well as a basic understanding of the game.
Sprouts Dance - Young dancers will get an introduction to several different types of dance, including modern, hip-hop, jazz, and more. Dancers will also have an introducion to improvisation and composition. The week culminates during our Friday performance, when dancers perform their routines for all to see.
Sprouts Cheer - Spirit, teamwork and basic cheer skills will be introduced to sprouts. The week culminates during our Friday performance, when the cheer-leaders show their routine for all to see
Participants in these specialty camps will also enjoy swimming in our outdoor pool,
lunch in the air conditioned youth center and playing fun and engaging activities.

Camp Care-A-Lot (Ages: 5 - 7) Age Appropiate Camps
Designed for the young camper who loves to run, jump and have fun. This camp allows children to have fun with new experiences and to further develop their social skills in a slower paced environment. Campers will have a great time participating in daily activities such as arts & crafts, progressive swim lessons, non-competitive group games, recreational swim and spray park time. They will also have access to our indoor air conditioned Youth Center for quiet activities such as reading a story, board games and dramatic play.

Camp U-Go-To is designed with a wide range of activities guaranteed to expand your child’s horizons. All offered in a safe and exciting environment where your kids can have fun, meet new friends and make memories to last a lifetime. Campers will have the opportunity to experience everything a traditional day camp has to offer in an amazing outdoor environment. Children will work on the 4 core values (caring, honesty, respect and responsibility) of the YMCA. They will participate in sports, art, nature, swim lessons and recreational swim.

This awesome dance camp will offer your camper a chance to explore creative movement integrating many different dance styles and techniques. Swimming is a daily aspect of this camp, along with lots of fun and activities. Campers are grouped by age and will work on routines set to music. Our experienced dance Instructors will help your camper build self-esteem while learning healthy movement and self-expression. Dance camp also teaches campers how to be a friend, leader and teammate. Dance and Cheerleading Camps perform every Friday afternoon for parents & campers. |

This camp is designed to meet the needs of the everyday cheerleader. Basic skills will include cheers, formations and jumps that will help aspiring cheerleaders to excel. More advanced cheerleaders will have the opportunity to work with tumbling, mounts and creating their own routines. Activities will also include swimming, arts & crafts and other team building group games. Campers will learn self-esteem and gain personal confidence. |

Swim Camp (Ages: 8 - 12) Basic Swimming Skills Required
The perfect day camp opportunity for kids who love to be in the pool! Campers will learn technique, practice with the swim team, compete in local swim meets (optional), work on teamwork through the use of aquatic games and also have recreational swim time. Our goal is to have each camper come home with experiences that enrich both the quality of their performance and their life through a better understanding and greater appreciation of aquatics. They will have more refined and developed techniques and a heightened level of self-confidence as an individual. Great for future aquatic leaders. |

This camp is designed for the enthusiastic soccer player which incorporates a half day of specialty instruction with a half day of traditional camp activities. Campers are taught the basic skills of passing, dribbling, shooting and defense. Our campers will learn drills, skills, and organized non-competitive games while also acquiring skills in sportsmanship and teamwork. Children will finish their day with a splash in our large, outdoor pool.

Basketball Camp (Ages: 8 - 12)
Co-ed instructional camp will introduce the basics of dribbling, passing, shooting and team play for beginners and help develop those skills in the advanced player. Basketball camp teaches and encourages children to show sports---manship and teamwork in a group environment. Experienced coaches and staff will motivate campers to improve their skills and knowledge of the game while improving their self-esteem. The primary goal of this camp is to improve game skills, build self-confidence, court awareness and physical performance.

Golf Camp (Ages: 8 - 12)
This camp will cover beginner and intermediate skills in golf. Campers will be increasing their skills at local driving ranges, putting greens, mini-golf challenges and also have some course play. Their time at MacColl Field will be spent swimming and playing recreational games too. Participants must bring their own golf clubs.

Explorers Camp is an alternative to the traditional day camp. Imagine the excitement as your camper travels up to five days per week to many new and exciting destinations throughout New England. Campers will have the opportunity to work with age appropriate activities to build a team environment. Campers will learn a variety of different skills focused on developing positive behavior and personal responsibility in a group environment.

Personal responsibility and independence are the focus of this camp which offers your child the opportunity to plot their own course with a variety of daily choices. Your child will have a group leader who will help guide campers in their daily decisions. Campers will have options such as swimming, teambuilding, sports, nature, cooking and arts. Teens who practice the values of caring, honesty, respect and responsibility will earn privileges.
